Nature Without and Within with Rene Henery, PhD

This Dialogue with ecologist and artist, Dr. Rene Henery will explore pathways toward the simultaneous healing of systems in nature and of our own internal systems, hearts, minds, and spirits. In the process, Rene will share some of his experiences, as a scientist pivoting from an emphasis on the application of science and mind to “fix” the world to an emphasis on relationship and heart, to heal, to catalyze greater connection with others and alignment with nature, and to be guided by what emerges from that connected place.

The Source & Environmental Activism with Lauren Valle

The source of our activism is equally as important as the action itself.  Although fear, anger, outrage etc. can certainly serve us at times, action initiating from our connection within nature is an effective and sustainable model for environmental change.

Join O.N.E and Vision Council Member, Lauren Valle, as she shares about her experiences as an environmental activist in her 20’s and her evolutionary journey to become a Sacred Earth Activist.

Lauren is a healer and community herbalist dedicated to bringing the healing powers of plant medicine and nature to her Cape Cod community. She is the founder of Kinship Herbal and Holistic Healing. Prior to founding Kinship she worked in the field of ecological engineering, working to build ecological wastewater and water remediation systems around the world  based on the intelligent design of nature. She received a B.A. from Columbia University and during her college years and early twenties she worked as an environmental activist focused on issues of environmental justice, fossil fuel consumption and natural resource depletion. She has also lived and worked on two organic farms and has a longstanding interest in permaculture and whole system design. She is deeply committed to a mission of visioning and creating a healthy future for all through reconnecting to the earth and our biological heritage.  She currently lives on her homestead with her husband where they raise chickens, grow an abundance of good food and many of the medicinal herbs she uses her in practice.

Yew Mysteries with Michael Dunning

michael-dunning

The Yew is the earthly and sentient expression of the ONE original pre-earthly organism that the earliest cultures referred to as the Tree of Life. The ancient and yet timeless language of the living Yew holds memory and information concerning the pre-earthly origin and spiritual lineage of human beings.

About Michael Dunning
Following a sequence of harrowing ‘near-death’ encounters with elemental beings of the ancient Earth that began in Thurso in the far north of Scotland, Michael was drawn to an ancient yew tree close to Edinburgh. For over nine years this immensely powerful female yew restored him to health and initiated him in the teachings of the Yew Mysteries. Michael now lives in the USA. He currently teaches the work of the Yew Mysteries on the east and on the west coast of the continental USA as well as in Canada.   www.yewmysteries.com

Sea Turtle: Primordial Grace, Timeless Wisdom, Liminal Guide with Susan Draffan

Sea Turtles are one of the most ancient, widespread, fascinating, mysterious species on Grandmother Earth. They occupy all our planet’s oceans except the polar regions, and are both fundamental to and indicators for the health of marine ecosystems. All 7 extant sea turtle species are currently endangered or threatened. Turtles embody central roles of honor in the cosmological and creation stories of many world cultures, and sea turtles in particular act as gatekeepers for liminal portals – the “thin” places between sea and land, unseen dimensions, and levels of consciousness.
