The Listening Field

This monthly conversation series is devoted to tuning in to the heart of Nature.

It is an invitation into a deeper, more embodied way of listening, one that moves beyond words and into relationship with the living world. The Listening Field is devoted to restoring and remembering our innate capacity to communicate with Nature and the subtle fields of intelligence that hold all life.

The Listening Field unfolds slowly, with a monthly rhythm that allows time for integration, reflection, and lived experience. The structure of the series reflects the practice it invites, offering space for listening to deepen over time.

The Listening Field explores the shared conditions that allow communication to emerge within and across species, including animals, plants, fungi, waters, landscapes, and living systems.

This series brings together intuitive practitioners, culture keepers, and scientists to explore both lived experience and research into how communication in the living world occurs.

We are being asked to listen

How this series came to be, and what we’re being invited into

What to Expect

In connection with ONE’s ongoing exploration of relationship with the living world, this series invites careful attention to how communication moves through our more-than-human kin, and how we, as humans, can learn to be present within that field of exchange. These conversations honor listening as a shared human and more-than-human capacity, and explore how attention, presence, and relationship shape what becomes perceptible when we listen.

Honoring Our Kin in the Listening Field

Alongside our monthly conversations, we are offering a home ceremony to honor Animal Kin — a printable and guided video practice open to all beginning March 21 through May 10, 2026.

No special skill is required. Only a willingness to slow down, turn toward the Animal Kin in your life and in the wider world, and offer your gratitude. Because they are listening, too.

No cost. Available to all.

“The plants have been stepping forward as elders and initiating us into what it means to be truly human. They’re preparing us for this next iteration on the planet. What’s our gig here? I think it’s about being good stewards - and the plants are helping to remind us, ‘that’s what you’re really doing here.”
